is a nice old brass mortar & bronze pestle. The mortar measures 4" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter. It is so well used that some of the casting lines have been worn away from use. The pestle is bronze and measures about 6 1/4" tip to tip. Both are as found and only washed with soapy water. No markings on either. T is an old foundary flaw next to one of the handles as shown in the second scan. The mortar sits nice and t are many old markings from use. These are great old pieces. Check my other auctions for more pharmacy related things. I will combine shipping w I can to save you money.
