Arare early original brown Mek Elek art deco wall /floor lamp made in the 1930s by Mek Elek of London. Number 0506. L.1 It is an extending lamp and it can be pulled into any position. The arms are brushed steel. The base has a heavy metal base which has screw holes for fixing to wall, desk, workbench or floor. It has all the original components; bakelite lamp sockets and switch, porcelain junction connector. The lamp is in polished and burnished steel with the brown and white lined enamel original shade. We have cleaned the lamp and wired the socket to check that it is working. (The lamp is being sold as unwired, we can get it rewired at your cost) Please see photos.
