Early Dutch Sterling Sugar Bowl Figural Mermaid handles Offered is a sterling silver sugar bowl made in the Netherlands probably c.1860-90. It measures 3 3/4" tall and 4" wide (with handles). The marks are Dutch passant lion with 2 which means .833 silver, Minevera head duty mark, key export mark used from 1853-1953, anchor with B, N2, and maker's partial mark SH. T is also a small round mark on the handle which has a beetle. Great handles with figural women. Repouseed body with many different flowers. Nice and heavy, very unusual shape. Vintage monogram MLC on the rim. T are light scratches from normal use, good condition. A very interesting piece! Paypal, Personal Checks, Money Orders, and All Major Credit Cards accepted.
