Up for auction is a early oil on canvas painting by well listed Oregon and California artist Eliza Barchus. It is a painting of Multnomah Falls on the Columbia River and features the old wooden bridge. She painted this scene with both the old wood bridge and the new cement bridge. The wooden bridge paintings are much more desireable. This painting is a large version measuring 14"x24" unframed. It comes in a nice gold leaf frame that is 2 1/2" wide. It has a Barchus advertisement for her paintings of Pacific Coast Scenery pasted to the back of the canvas. Any questions please ask.
