Early very unusual Nippon moriage vase or jug with not only a bird in moriage but two hand painted scenes front and back, the entire vase is covered in flowers and raised bead work, I don't think I've ever had one with this much bead work, the art work and the colors on the piece are museum quality, the piece is not signed but a lot of the moriage pieces were not but I will however guarantee it to be a Nippon piece and you will see similar examples pictured in the Nippon book, the vase measures about 8 in. high and looks to be in perfect condition, if you collect Nippon moriage this is about as good as it gets and is guaranteed to be old.
