You are bidding on a very early Glass Smoke bell for a hanging lamp. The engraved or etched decoration is finely done. (See photos) The hand crimped hanging loop and the overall craftsmanship all suggest Sandwich Glass Company as the maker. My photos really do not do this 1860's era smoke bell justice. "You have to see it in person!" It stands 5 5/8 inches high and has a base diameter of 4 1/4 inches. CONDITION: excellent, No Damage and the Glass is perfectly clear!
