You are bidding on this SUPER RARE Early Hubley Toys Die Cast Iron Chevrolet (I think? - I will be corrected if wrong) Fire Pumper Truck. Hubley was a Toy company that went out of business in the early 70's and was located in near-by Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I acquired this piece and other early toys and collectables from a recently settled estate. This piece dates from the 1930's and is in NMINT Untouched Original Condition. This 5" long Die Cast Iron piece is very rare to find - the RARE (Hubley did not use wood wheels very often) Original Wooden Wheels on Metal Axles are Nice - Original Red Paint is Very Strong (minimal play wear, chips and rubs - Awesome for the age of the toy) - Die Cast Pumper Boiler Top - Awesome Deco Lines and Details - Piece is Marked: Hubley #2230 - U.S.A. These early Hubley Cast Metal Vehicles are getting harder and harder to find in this awesome untouched condition - This is an extremely RARE Hubley piece - When will you see another?
