HERE IS A CHANCE TO WIN A very old lot of American Indian cloth beadwork dolls and a unique pair of 3" deerskin moccasins from an estate where in 2003, Mrs. Mildred Cornelius of Brunswick Maryland let these lovely things go as she transitioned to Assisted Living quarters. Copy of 2003 Sale Bill included as provenance. Male doll is fabricated of buckskin color felt and is just over 6" tall with beaded black thread braids. Forehead is decorated with colored beads and chest piece has six red wooden beads. The other beads are glass. Leggings are decorated with glass beads. Several moth depressions and several missing beads. Squaw is similar 6" height with dark blue felt dress. Lots if intact clear glass beadwork across waist and down edges. Bead Necklace and beaded braids. Two loops of black beads serve as feet. Brave has no feet. 3" Moccasins appear to be deerskin. Two colors with a red ornament on tongue of each. Lined and trimmed with grey felt. Stitching on these is much neater than the immature stitches on the dolls. WINNER GETS QUITE A WONDERFUL LOT HERE! UNIQUE!
