Offering a pair of 7 in. tall heavy porcelain Kate Greenaway figurines with metal eyeglasses. These are very early, made around 1905 in Germany for the American market. Some of the hand painted gold trim has worn off with age but the porcelain itself is in excellent condition with no cracks, hairlines, chips, flakes or repairs. The boy figure originally carried a wood cane, which, of course, can be replaced. These are great examples of the EARLIEST Greenaway porcelain figures, and so unusual to find a pair with the boy with the top hat. No reserve.
