Ravenna , a city in and the county seat of Portage County, Ohio, was formed from portions of Ravenna Township in the Connecticut Western Reserve. The population was 11,724 in the 2010 Census and estimated at 11,476 in 2018. Ravenna was founded in 1799, platted in 1808, and is named for the city of Ravenna, Italy. The city is part of the Akron Metropolitan Statistical Area and the larger Cleveland–Akron–Canton Combined Statistical Area. This card chronicles Ravenna in the “Horse and Buggy” days, not an early auto in sight. I could not find any real information on “Main Street” or any of the buildings, except that one of them is the old Courthouse. Also wondered what the “Radio Tower” structure on the street in front of the Courthouse is or was but I did see it in more current photos. In any event, the card, published by “Raphael Tuck, Publisher to the King and Queen” is in good condition with intact corners and edges and with a clean and clear image and reverse. If this your card, it will be mailed promptly upon receipt of payment by Pay Pal only......
