Early Majolica Oval Shaped Dish with Cover in a Fruit MotifThis piece is marked on the bottom 21 and there is some gold leafing. The dish is 4 1/2' High and 8" X 4 1/2" the piece is 1/4 thick heavy porcelain. There are some small chips on this piece one along the edge of the bottom and a nick on the top in the photo one of the leaves looks chipped it is not that is the artists painting. Unique Piece!
