AMERICA'S PRIDE ** GREAT CONDITION ** EARLY MALTESE CROSS TIN LITHO SPICE TIN This offering is for an early tin lithographed Maltese Cross spice tin. The tin measures app. 3 1/8" tall by 2¼ wide and it contains Allspice. The tin is not dated but my guess is it would date from about 1900 to 1910. This Maltese Cross brand was distributed by Meyer Brothers Drug Co. of St. Louis Missouri which was founded in 1852 according to the info provided on the tin. The condition is excellent with only the most minimal wear and a bit of soiling. T is no rust and the colors are bold and bright. We have not cleaned the tin and will leave the decision to do so or not to the new owner. This great early Maltese Cross Spice Tin will make an excellent addition to someone's collection, shouldn't it be yours!!!
