This is a post-WWI-era sterling medal with excellent enamel, in the shape of a cross, from the famous Manlius School in New York State. The front has the school's crest in silver and enamel. The inscription "The Manlius School/Meritorious Service" is picked out in silver and black enamel. The reverse of the medal is hallmarked BALFOUR STERLING, and is engraved 25 YEARS. The medal measures 1 ½ inches across and high. The private Manlius School was founded in 1869 and later became known as the St. John's Military School. Today the school is known as the Manlius Pebble Hill School.Payment due in 10 days. I prefer PayPal but MOs or personal checks are fine. Personal checks need to clear.
