Up for bid is an early original Colt Model of 1911. U.S. Army slide. The slide has no serial number but does have Proof marks on the underside of the firing pin block. The mark on the "hammer" end appears to be a "P" and the at extractor end appears to be a "G" (?). The slide has not been refinished, as the writing on the slide is visible and with nice sharp edges. It does have a very light electro pencil mark of "M", that if refinishing would easily buff out. It appears to have been carried but does not have a lot of internal wear, therefore not shot very much. Please look at pics and bid accordingly. If you have questions please ask before bidding.
