This early pipehead is council size, about 8 inches long, with the stem it is just under 30 inches. We have no reserve and a low starting price. We expect most of the action via snipes at the end. You may expect competition at that point. The pipe and stem are early and are ex-Bonhams and Cowans auction respectively. The fit is nice and the patina wonderful -- and genuine, not manufactured. If you disagree, return it for a full refund. Provenance will be provided to the buyer. The pipehead was part of the well known Trusdell collection. The carved bands are very nicely fashioned. It is quite heavy. The stem shows use and early manufacture. The 8 photos speak for themselves for the experienced collector. We accept paypal. Good luck.
