I am selling this treasure of my studio glass collection! This is a really beautiful, vintage piece of Murano glass made by Salviati and with the typical classical dolphin figure in the stem. There are gold leaf inclusions in the prunts and within the dolphin also. The overall height is just over 5" high with the foot being approx. 3" wide. This is a hand blown piece and the snapped pontil mark is on the base. There is no damage but there is a small, shallow burst bubble in the bowl of the candle holder - I couldn't take a photo of this as it is really only apparent when you run your nail over it. It appears to have occurred during manufacture and I have made allowances for this in the price. !
