Very Early Signed Napier Gold Tone Choker 12091 This masterpiece from early Napier times is exceedingly well weighted and crafted by a master jeweler. It is made of a 17" length section of rich realistic polished gold tone Italian Bolla chain which with this item it is twice as thick as a normal bola chain and very weighted. The center of the choker loops and is tacked or soldered from the reverse side to allow for a loop to be present in the center of the choker. Through this opening 10 strands of gold tone Italian box link chain are looped through and banded with a polished gold tone band producing a tassel like pendant for the choker. Amazing classic memorable design with the tassel making for a 3 1/2" drop in the center of the choker. The final product is truly remarkable. It retains the original, fully functional and secure clasp signed Napier and was produced in the late 1940s. This item is in pristine wearable condition with no visible signs of wear. This is an estate item which has been very well cared for. It measures 16" in length. As with the sale of any vintage choker or vintage necklace we offer a free extension up to 11" in length.
