Up for auction is an very early old Steiff ?? mohair excelsior stuffed pull toys on wheels. He is very old and could possible be rare enough, to be worth restoring. Maybe he is just a bear, but because of feet maybe he is a dog or lion. No tail, ears, or tag. The mohair colors were beige with greyish tips. Hubby saved him, he was outside, not even in auction showroom, with the dog (I listed) & a grizzly bear on wheels, that went to a dolly hospital. I added eyes (he was blind). He needs total restoration, the growlers still there, rip on shoulder exposing wire, two rips on belly, one on back leg leaking excelsior. Toy measures 10" Long by & 6 " Tall. He comes from a collection that has been storage since 1984. I hope he goes to good home, who can restore him and not use him for parts.
