For your consideration, A fine little antique sterling silver George III vinaigrette made by Samuel Pemberton of Birmingham , 1782 , the lid chased in the form of a basket weave and with fine wrigglework engraving , the base with fine wrigglework concentric long hexagons, the interior gilt , the inner hinged lid of finely cut floral lozenges , marked under the lid with the duty mark, the date letter I , the maker's mark SP, Birmingham anchor , and the lion , measuring 7/8 x 5/8 x 1/4 in. overall, with minor surface scratches, tarnish and wear consistant with age and respectful use.
