......pretty birds......

This is SUCH a pretty pin from Mexico, circa 1940, and all hand made using the repousse technique. The pin features a pair of birds, one smaller and one larger, perched on a branch that ends is a stone set flower. The stone is an olive green in color and may be old turquoise or agate. The craftsmanship is just exquisite on this piece and the pin closes on the back with a safety clasp. Nice!

The majority of my items are vintage, ranging from 25 to 80 years old. These items have been lovingly used and worn and may show age-related wear or patina. I will always note in the Condition section anything above and beyond normal wear.
