A wonderful , very early, New England staved wooded piggin or water bucket in blue paint. This one is nice and early, found here in NY State. The staved construction is nice and tight with hewn wooden bands -all hand carved and a great hole for hanging! The condition is excellent as my pictures attest, and it would be great in or atop an early cupboard-filled with dried or simply on it's own. The blue paint has been newly added and aged by me. Many of you are already familiar with my work, and this piece is no exception! My work has been featured in several magazines and publications nationwide in addition to being named one of Early american Life Magazines "Top 200 Craftsmen" five years running. It measures: 11 3/4" tall x 11 3/4" across the bottom. I'm offering it sold as-is, described to the very best of my knowledge. It is, of course, guaranteed as described. As always, thank you for looking and !
