VERY EARLY RARE WW1 MILITARY TRENCH/FOB POCKET WATCH STRAP / HOLDER A very early rare WW1 military trench / fob pocket watch watch strap Made to hold a fob pocket watch at a time when it was becoming popular and more convenient to wear a watch on the wrist rather than in the pocket. This was before the lugged trench watch became the standard way to attach a watch to the wrist by way of a leather strap.
