Made in Witney - England. 100% Wool Blanket. Measures approx 72" x 85" - Early's Witney blankets, since 1669 - This company made these blankets in England, for trade in North America. They made high quality Point Blankets that are still found today. This blanket has seen some use, so we know it was a good one to have! Needs to be cleaned, which is normal for blankets of this age. Unknown if the age spots can be removed. Some of the light stains may/may not come out, unsure if their from aging. There are areas on each end that need attention-mending. A couple very small holes on one end need mending, as well as the Early's tag needs part of it sewn back onto the blanket. The blanket is a thin wool, perfect for autumn nights. It's not in need of much tlc to use. Great for hayrides, pets, emergency blanket for your vehicle, etc. Restore it fully, and display this treasured Witney Wool blanket proudly ~ AZ
