I know nothing about collecting Playing cards. I came into possession of a major collection and are letting the market place dictate the price someone is willing to pay. I am a disabled seller with access to the computer from 9am to 9pm daily. I live in the Pacific Time Zone (california...USA) I ship once a week usually on Tuesday. Here we have an exceptional set of Fournier’s "East African" cards, featuring photographic images on each card of East Africa scenes and natives. These cards were first made in 1957; there is an export tax stamp on the 4 of Clubs with the number 22717 and printing indicating the deck is from H. Fournier, Vitoria, Spain. This tax stamp was used c.1960-1964. Each card displays a different photo with a descriptive title at the bottom This is a tourist deck put out by the East Africa Tourist board and the writing is in English, as is the writing on the box. The backs feature a Masai warrior spearing an enraged lion. Accompanying this deck of cards is a large colored foldout map of the East Africa countries.
