You are bidding on an ADULT built, painted, detailed, and decaled model of one of the most famous modified stock cars to ever Hit the East Coast of America. This is the famous "ORA" (Orwigsburg Racing Association) # 17, that was driven by dirt track great, "The Orwigsburg Orbiter" Laudan Potts. The popular and fan friendly Laudan Potts was seen at many tracks throughout his illustrious career(along with his cans of Pepso Cola), with stops at tracks like Reading Fairgrounds, Flemington Fairgrounds, Nazareth National, Nazareth 1/2 mile, Middletown NY, and many other tracks throughout the east coast. This car always looked like new, whenever and wver it pulled into the pits. This # 17 was owned by a bunch of business men in the hometown of Laudan Potts, Orwigsburg, Pa.I use to follow Laudan all through his career, but this is one of the first cars I ever seen him run, and in his honor, I built this model, and as nice as this model is, is just as nice as his real cars always came prepared to race. I've also been lucky enough to have Laudans Son Lester as one of my best friends in life also! A true racing living legend!
