Very nice first edition, first printing of East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Green fabric hardcover. No rips or tears to the pages, and the hard cover is minimally worn. There is a slightly lightened strip at the top edge of the front cover, I assume it was exposed to sunlight before I got it. In general only light shelf wear. The title is featured in a red rectangle on the spine and the c opyright page states "First published by the Viking Press in September 1952" with no other printing.The dust jacket is not original but is a high quality color replica of the original first edition dust jacket and comes in a protective clear sleeve.It has been kept in bubble wrap in a box since I bought it. Has not been exposed to light, dust, cigarette smoke, or pets.If you would like more photos or have any questions please let me know!
