Up for auction is a wooden, hand-carved moai tangata manu statue from Easter Island (Rapa Nui). Please see below for more information regarding this item. This tourist statue is in excellent condition except that it is missing the black pupils in its eyes (shark vertebra) and is from the 1970s. It is hand-carved from a single piece of native timber and intricately decorated. It measures 13in tall, 5in wide, and 2in deep. It comes from a pet-free, smoke-free home.
