Today,I’ll be listing some scarcer Easton Press and Franklin Library titles for your consideration (so kindly see my other listings). Many of these titles were sold out long ago and are no longer available, and getting harder to find in Fine/ Near Fine condition. This listing is for an Easton Press SIGNED FIRST Edition volume titled His Eminence and Hizzoner by John Cardinal O’Connor and Edward Koch; and was published by Easton Press in 1989, and is signed by both O’Connor and Koch. O’Connor was Archbishop of New York from 1984-2000 (his death), and became a Cardinal in 1985. Koch served in the US House of Representatives from NY from 1969-1977; and was 3-time mayor of New York City from 1978-1989. This edition is part of Easton’s Signed First Edition series (116) which was started in 1989; and this volume is # 006 in the series which is currently up to approximately 300 volumes now. This Maroon, full leather-bound edition is in Fine, Never Read condition: tight bindings, no attached book plates, no blemishes on the leather covers, and the gilt page edges show no wear or scratches.
