This is the 2005 Easton Press edition of "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Animals," a 616 page, 9"x11.25 hardcover edited by Dr. Phillip Whitfield. It contains color illustrations and details on thousands of animals. The book is bound in genuine leather, with 22kt gold accents, three raised bands on the spine, all-gilt page edges, permanent satin ribbon page marker. The book is in Like New condition. The leatherbindings are superb with no signs of use. The silk moire end sheets are perfectwith no signs of discoloration. The gilt page edges are bright and shiny. Bindings are tight and pages are clean and unmarked. The satin page markers are not wrinkled. There are no pasted in bookplates or other signs or marks of previous ownership on any of the pages.
