EC Portfolio # 1 - William M. Gaines - Very Good Condition! Details The EC Portfolio # 1 was published in 1971. This portfolio includes stories: 1. Horror We? How's Bayou - From Haunt of Fear No. 17 2. Touch and Go - From Crime SuspenStories No. 17 3. My World - From Weird Science No. 22 4. Food For Thought - From Incredible Science Fiction No. 32 This is your chance to own the original illustrations/drawings from the above mentioned stories. Russ Cochran chose these specific stories from the EC Comic Universe because he felt these drawings were nothing short of breathtaking. So this portfolio was chosen with the Art in mind rather than the story. The contributors you will find within this portfolio include: Bill Gaines, Al Feldstein, Graham Ingels, Johnny Craig, Wally Wood, Al Williamson Roy Krenkel and Jack Davis. Integrity This portfolio has held up incredibly well since publication in 1971. The spine is in terrific condition and there are no loose, missing, tears or staining to the artwork within this portfolio. The problem is staining/discoloration to the front and back cover (see pictures). If not for this "cometic" damage you would be bedding on a VERY FINE piece of history.
