Flame Safety Lamp This auction is for one Eccles BRASS permissible Miners Flame Safety Lamp, Type 6 . This is the British type flame safety lamp. This one is a heavy brass model, intended for presentation as a gift by mining companies. It has not been used and is in near-perfect condition T are a few very, very minor scratches and rubs that you can barely see, and the brass is tarnished which should be removable with Brass-O and elbow grease. The tarnishing on all of the lamp is light, other than on the bottom of the base wher it is heavier tarnish, which you can see in the photo. The lamp is approximately 10 inches tall by 3.5 inches diameter. Includes the brass belt hook The round emblem/tag attached to the bonnet of the lamp says "Protector Lamp & Lighting Co. Ltd., Type 6, M&O Safety Lamps, Approval No. B/28, Makers Eccles" AS A BONUS, I will include a miniature Eccles flame safety lamp. This is about 1.5 inches tall, and is keychain sized. It is also brass. See the photos.
