" Echoes of Como: 1879 - 1988 ", is the story of Como, Colorado, was written and copyrighted in 1974 by Mary Dyer and published by George Dyer. Como was a division point on the Denver, South Park & Pacific Railway's narrow gauge line from Denver to Leadville, Colorado. This copy is a "Fourth Printing, June, 1988". The author states, "Many months have been spent in research, separating act from fiction, and in our effort to keep this publication as factual as possible... On the following pages are some evocative photographs which have never appeared in any publication until now." The book is well illustrated with photographs or maps on most pages.
