This auction is for a lovely and unusual natural Eclogite or Eklogite specimen which has been semi tumbled to make this unusual pebble or boulder shape it comes from Aheilm, Norway. This particular natural specimen weighs 47.6 grams, and measurements taken at the widest points are approximately 50 mm x 34 mm x 19 mm. Eclogite/Eklogite is a coarse-grained metamorphic rock. It is a lovely combination of the green matrixof sodium-rich pyroxene and the red of the Garnet (Almandine-Pyrope). Other minerals which can be included within thespecimen are Kyanite, Quartz, Rutile, Lawsonite, Zoisite, Amphibole and Corrundum. Garnet is a stone that revitalises, purifies and balances energy. It is said to be able to warn off approaching danger and was long ago carried as a protective talisman. Garnet is a powerful stone which energises and regenerates, it helps the chakra's also by cleansing and aligning.
