Edgar Allan Crow - Tasha Tudor Copyright 1953. Cloth hard cover. Oxford University Press. This is a retired library book. There are some markings and stamps inside the book which I have pictured. This book looks different than any of the other Edgar Allan Crow books I have seen. There is no dust Jacket, I'm not sure if it originally came with one or not. The image of the crow with the circle of leaves around it is on the book itself, not a dust jacket. I have notice while researching this book that every copy for sale is stated to be a first edition. The unique cover of this copy, I believe, is the only difference from other "first edition" copy. All of the copyright information is the same. On the dedication page, right next to the copyright page "FEB 22 '54 New Method" is stamped and 2.25 is written after it in pencil close to the spine. "J + T cop. 11" is also written in pencil on the top left side of this page. On the back of the front cover you can see where the library check-out pouch was removed, and "DISCARD" was stamped.The title page and another page, a few pages in, have Illinois State Library stamped in them with little bitty holes.
