EDINBURGH CITY NCR 68 PHOSPHOR BAR ERROR FIX 1 st & 2 nd Class MACHIN P&GCollectors Sets Here is a unique opportunity to obtain a set of Mint 1 st & 2 nd Class “Post & Go” Stamps from NCR Machine 68 at the NEW “Edinburgh City” Post Office at 5/6 Princes Mall (Office Number 025824) which opened on the 3 rd November 2014. Machine 68 was faulty on the day of opening and these 1 st & 2 nd Class Stamps Serial 000246 were vended on the 20 th November 2014 the day after it was eventually repaired, hence the low serial number. The phosphor bar was badly misplaced on the initial 2 nd Class set centring a break of approximately 4mm directly over the Queens image. The second 2 nd Class set vended on the 11 th February 2015 has had this misplacement corrected with NO break in the bar. On the 1 st Class stamp the bars are high leaving a gap of approximately 3mm at the base of the stamp. Both the 1 st & 2 nd Class sets have year code “MA14” in the security lines. This NEW Post Office replaced the St James Centre Post Office which closed on the 1 st November 2014 ( NOTE: the similar sets I am selling from the OLD office ). The new office houses three NCR machines 67 to 69. These stamps have been treated with great care and are in absolutely PRISTINE condition.
