Offered is an Edison 2 minute Model B Gem cylinder phonograph with its original crank and C reproducer. It is in very good condition with excellent decals as seen in the pictures. The mechanical parts have been cleaned and oiled, it has a new belt and the reproducer has been rebuilt with a new diaphragm and gaskets. It is serial number G169391 and was introduced in October, 1905. It is totally original except for the replaced belt and a historically accurate reproduction 10 inch conical horn. As seen in the picture, the sapphire stylus is good for another many years. It runs quiet and plays with a clear and loud tone. They don't get much better than this one! For those not familiar with Edison phonographs, the GEM is the smallest phonograph made by Edison and measures 7 3/4 x 10 inches at its base, is 8 inches high and weighs only 13 pounds. I will include 3 original cylinders for your listening enjoyment.
