RARE EDITH JOHN D ROCKEFELLER MCCORMICK BOOKPLATEAn original rare vintage bookplate for Edith Rockefeller McCormick (1872-1932) who was the fourth daughter of John D. Rockefeller of Standard Oil and who married into the McCormick reaper family. Their country house was called Villa Turicum and was built in Lake Forest Illinois. She had a good book collection including many fine bindings, among them the work of the Doves Bindery.About 3 by 5 inches and in very good condition. Some of old mounting still adhering to the reverse. $6 domestic ship We are currently offering a nice selection of rare and interesting bookplates for auction.
