Up for sale is a unique wristwatch with an Unitas 6498 movement from EDOX . It was listed as Favre-Leuba, but a fellow watch enthusiast was nice enough to correct me.Though both companies use the hour glass logo, this one is definitely the logo of the Swiss watchmaker EDOX. This rare EDOX hour-glass stamped Unitas 6498 movement has been cased with care into its new home, a high grade 316L stainless steel case with a scratch-proof sapphire front glass for everyday wear. The dial and hands are custom made pieces, with very strong lume and great night visibility.Movement: a well known Unitas movement, which survived even the closing of its original factory as ETA itself bought up the license and the machinery to keep on producing it.
