We provide labels that can be used in the old style control box that has a metal frame; they also have sticky paper so they can be used on the new style box without metal frame. Why? This auction is for a complete 7211 only and the labels.The text below describes the three "Blue Control Boxes" that Marklin used during the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s.7072 Control Box “double solenoid controller”With 8 sockets for connecting 4 double solenoid accessories. The position of buttons indicate the setting for the signal, turnout, etc. This blue control box has 4 circuits. Each of the four circuits:· Has red button for stop or curve (momentary contact)· Has green button for go or straight (momentary contact)· Can serve a double solenoid device (such as a signal or turnout)· Has a red and a green socket on rear for connection to the blue wires of the double solenoid device· The sockets and plug are of the old style (pre 2002). See the picture that describes such. Per their 2002-2003 Catalog, Marklin Maerklin Märklin changed the design of their Plugs and Sockets. The newer design provides improved safety, especially for small children.
