the Selected Classic to Modern Mexican Postal History ef04 Mexico Mexico-French Exp. Corp. letter CEMF31 Mar 63. This soldiers letter, using the 20c stamp for enlisted men, was sent early on in the campaign of the French Intervention into Mexico. Likely this was sent from somewhere between Veracruz and Mexico City or Puebla. These expedition covers are some of the most sought after in all postal history for both Mexico and France. This example with the nice condition stamp and on a small cover would be an outstanding example for your collection. Nice in any collection, this will be great in yours. . Today, I am listing covers that will be from the pre-stamp period to early modern. You should be able to find both interesting and difficult to find items. I have some of the out of district material in these early covers. In the early modern covers you will find certified and register mail. Some of the dead letter mail that was opened and returned to the sender are in these early 20th Century mail. There are some good Revolutionary material in these also.
