This Auction is for a nice old Egg Island Oyster Brand one gallon tin can of freshly shucked oysters packed by Ballard Fish & Oyster Co. Norfolk VA. Copyright 1935. The can is about 7 1/4"tall and about6 3/4" in diameter. Has great graphics and shows well from the front but the can does show it's age and has small and slight dents, scratches, oxidation, staining and some spots of surface rust (mostly on lower edge on back side. Please see all pics for condition. The lid is marked "scallops" but I believe it is original to the can, a great piece to add to your collection and hard to find, Sold with No reserve, Thank You!
