YOU ARE BIDDING ON 10 EISENHOWER SILVER DOLLARS OF MIXED YEARS AND CONDITION. The "IKE" Dollar was struck to commemorate both President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who died in 1969, and the Apollo 11 moon landing which took place that same year. Due to it's large size, the "IKE" dollar was often saved as a memento of Eisenhower and because of this, it never saw much circulation outside of casinos. *THESE LARGE "IKE" DOLLARS ARE COPPER-NICKEL CLAD, NOT 90% SILVER LIKE THE OLD PEACE AND MORGAN SILVER DOLLARS, OR 40% SILVER LIKE SOME OF THE "S" MINTMARK EISENHOWERS. *ALL LOTS CONSIST OF CIRCULATED COINS AND ARE IN SIMILAR CONDITION TO THE COINS PICTURED. *THESE COINS HAVE BEEN SITTING IN A VAULT FOR QUITE A LONG TIME AND THE COIN LOT YOU ARE BIDDING ON WILL NOT CONTAIN ANY CULLED OR DAMAGED COINS. *EACH LOT WILL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE BICENTENNIAL, BUT SINCE THE LOTS ARE MIXED AND CHOSEN AT RANDOM, SOME LOTS WILL CONTAIN MULTIPLE BICENTENNIAL COINS. * PLEASE BE CERTAIN TO READ THE ENTIRE AUCTION DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING .
