STUNNING HAVILAND LIMOGES #340 CUP & SAUCER“”AWSOME SWAG PINK ROSES AND BLUE RIBBONS”” “ELEGANT DOUBLE GOLD TRIM” ****QUALIFIES FOR EARLY BIDDER DISCOUNT (see below)***** This is a beautiful Theodore Haviland Limoges #340 pattern cup & saucer on what I believe is the Romeo blank. This is one of nicest Theodore Haviland patterns you will come across. The design on this set is a floral design with pink rambling roses, on delicate green vines and leaves. The pattern of roses on vines kind of drapes from the rims with beautiful blue ribbons weaving throughout. There is a lot of pattern on the set all around the rims flowing down into the centers. This beautiful Haviland Limoges cup & saucer qualifies for our early bidder discount of 5%. THIS CUP & SAUCER IS VERY RARE, IT'S JUST STUNNING AND BELONGS IN YOUR COLLECTION!!! The outside edges are semi scalloped and on the inside edges there is a raised design. The outside edges and the inside edges have a beautiful double gold gilded design. Please be sure to look closely at the photos to make sure it matches your pattern as many of the variants look a lot alike. This set is in EXCELLENTcondition with no chips, cracks, or flakes with little if any wear to the gold. Photo may be slightly brighter than the item. As with all antique china, there may be a factory glaze skip or dot, but nothing that takes away from this beautiful piece. The cup measures approx. 3 5/8 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches across. The marks on the bottom of this set are the over glazed Theodore Haviland over Limoges over France over patent applied for in red. The over glazed red mark is Theodore Haviland mark # 34 mark in The Collector’s Encyclopedia Of Limoges. There may also be a decorating mark on some of them showing the company name the pieces were specially made for. These marks date this set back to between 1904 to the 1920s.
