Made in the US by Tiffin in the collection Optic Copen Blue. Vintage Fine Light Blue Optic Crystal Pedestal Compote Bowl with a Controlled Teardrop. Mouth blown and hand made. If you are familiar with Cambridge Caprice Moonlight Blue, it is a very similar color. This is early 1940's, Do you love to have Jelly Belly's right at your fingertips? Perfect vessel for treats and nuts. Great scale for your office desk or coffee table.It is STUNNING! The bowl and base are in g orgeous shade of azure or light sapphire blue. The clear attached stem has a large, controlled teardrop bubble. Substantial weight AND QUALITY! (Like Fry, Cambridge, Fostoria). It stands approx. 9" tall. Opening of the bowl is 3 1/4". Widest part of the bowl is approx. 7". It has a very fine ground top opening. And, it has an optic or ribbed quality to the bowl.
