This elegant,Victorian mahogany sewing/jewellery box has lovely inlay bandings around the lid edge.It has a mother of pearl cartouche and a brass escutcheon.There is a lock fitted but no key.Veneer is in very good shape.There is a quality green felt to the underside.Inside,the interior is lined with a period red lining paper and a black velvet base.Size is 10.5" x 7.5" 4.5" (27cm x 19cm x 12cm).
