The item for bid is a Marked Elegant Glass Gold Krystol (yellow) "DECAGON" pattern #856 Roll Edge Console Bowl with the "CLEO" etching that was made by the Cambridge Glass Company from 1921-45. The bowl is faintly marked on the bottom center with the Cambridge "TRIANGLE C" logo. I beleive the yellow color in the Decagon pattern is difficult to find, especially with the Cleo etching, as it is not one of the colors that is usually listed for the pattern. The piece has wonderful clarity and pattern detail, and is in EXCELLENT USED CONDITION with the only visible defect being a few tiny air bubbles in the glass, which is a common flaw found in Depression Era glass. It measures 2-1/2" tall, 11-1/2" diameter across the rim, and the round base is 5-1/8" diameter.
