This is an Elgin bicycle from about the early 1940s. The serial number under the pedal crank is E67393. T is also another number above it...G6. T is also a Sears and Roebuck model number label on the bar under the seat and that number is 501-170. The bike is for restoration. It is a girl's bike with Art Deco styling to it. The tires are 26" by 1.75. The wheel hubs have Zurk grease fittings and cooling fins. It has a rear carrying rack and ribbed guards over the front of the rear wheel. The fenders have a center rib form into them. It has a rear wheel kickstand that clips into the holder at the back of the rear fender. It has a horn tank and the horn is inside. The bottom of the headlight is rotted. The topy of the headlight looks usable. It has a skip chain.The head emblem piece is a cast metal with raised letters Elgin on the sides and a "V O" at the front. The bike is a mint green and a medium green color. The paint is worn and the chrome has rust as you can see in the photos.
