Up for bids is a very rare lantern globe for a Elgin hot blast type lantern. Globe is 6 3/8" tall. No major chips or any cracks. 'ELGIN' clearly read on glass. See pictures There are some imperfections in the glass as is common. Hard to show but they are not cracks. Overall in very good shape. Cannot stress enough the rarity of this globe. Short globes for the later lanterns are common. Elgin hot blast lanterns are rare and original globes are rarer still. Ask questions before bidding. 100 percent feedback
