Following the Guidon, Elizabeth B. Custer, Harper and Brothers, New York, 1890. Hardcover, green decorated cloth. Copyright date 1890, first edition, first printing. 341 pages, plus 2 pages of advertisements. Illustrated with plates from drawing & engravings. Custer on the the Kansas plains in 1868 and 1869, as related by his wife who accompanied him. She wrote this book to serve as a legacy for her husband, General George Custer. Very good condition, light edge and corner wear, some rubbing and scattered spotting to covers. Clean interior pages, no previous owners markings, hinges good.
