ELIZABETH TAYLOR for AVON Shah Jehan Heart Pendant This fabulous piece of costume jewelry, is an exact replica, of the priceless SHAH JEHAN diamond, which became part of Elizabeth Taylor's Collection when Richard Burton gave it to her on her 40th birthday. in 1628 this priceless heart-shaped diamond was inscribed with the name of the Maharani Noor Jehan and with the date of the Emperor Shah Jehan's accession to the throne. the Shah Jehan by the way is the person who built the Taj Mahal for his bride. well, we all can't have partners who will shower us with priceless jewels and build magnificent historic structures on our behalf, but a lot of us can live vicariously through REPLICA's. this necklace certainly fits the description of FABULOUS FAKE aka REPLICA . the necklace comes with all of its original packaging (see photo) along with a pamphlet that tells some of its history. it is in PERFECT CONDITION. i doubt that is has ever been worn. it is just so beautiful you'll probably want to stash it away in a drawer and on occasion just look at it for awhile. i have another, which is the only reason i can part with this one.the necklace is about 34 inches long with two slides for adjustability of length. the pendant is about 2 1/2 wide and high and very three dimensional. it can be worn like a choker or a longer necklace, which ever
